A gentle dusting of snow has arrived just in time for Camas’ Hometown Holidays.

But even though the snow will put many in the holiday spirit, it will also prevent some of the event’s activities from moving forward.

With chilly conditions expected to hold well into the evening, all of the scheduled outside musical performances have been cancelled. Still, the city is planning a number of other holiday activities, including the Christmas tree lighting, photos with Santa, crafts and treats downtown.

The event will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. with the Christmas tree lighting and last until 8:30 p.m.
