Evergreen 34, Columbia River 25 — A 27-point run over the middle two quarters carried the Plainsmen past the visiting Chieftains.

Columbia River scored the first 13 points of the game, holding Evergreen scoreless into the second quarter before the Plainsmen turned the momentum their way. Evergreen’s Triann Thompson sparked the turnaround with five steals in the second quarter.

Evergreen’s Moriah Doyle and Vella Jackson scored 10 points apiece to lead all scorers. Jackson added 14 rebounds.
