Hazel Dell — After more than half her life painting, 88-year-old Kathleen New was proud to be highlighted recently in her first solo show at First Congregational Church in Vancouver. She also has made a few that remind her of places and moments that are special to her, including her granddaughters at the beach and a spot where she camped as a girl.
