A Clark County motorcyclist remains in critical condition Monday after a Saturday night crash in Brush Prairie sent him to the hospital.
Michael Scoggins, 21, was riding a 2006 Kawasaki EX250 north on Northeast 152nd Avenue when he collided with a 2000 Chrysler minivan that was traveling east on Northeast 144th Street.
The driver of the minivan, Denni Hamilton-Levonian, 55, of Clark County reportedly did not see the motorcycle and pulled in front of the rider about 11:45 p.m., Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Duncan Hoss said.
Scoggins was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
Hamilton-Levonian remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. Neither alcohol nor speed appear to be a factor of the crash, Hoss said.
No citations have been issued, but the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.
