I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather. Of course, with that comes more cloudiness and less sunshine.
A low-pressure system is parked off the coast, generating weak systems rotating around it. These may bring scattered showers or sprinkles inland and over the mountains and drizzle along the coast.
Not much measurable moisture is anticipated, mind; just have to include that in the forecast — you know, the good old “chance of” stuff. The weather pattern will be steady most of the week, with highs below 80 degrees, unless we get a good batch of clear blue skies.
The summer is waning fast, with the sun rising later and later, and my email is full of woolly bear caterpillar sightings. Look for one that’s black on the ends and orange in the middle. They usually appear for a couple of weeks in October and early November.
