Do you ever see a Washington State Patrol trooper on the highway and wonder what they do all day? Thursday is your chance to virtually go to work with troopers and other State Patrol employees via social media outlets Twitter and Facebook.

Starting at 6 a.m., the agency will tweet events happening around the state in real time using the hashtag #daywithWSP. The events will be explained in more detail on the State Patrol Facebook page. Nothing will be made up or set up; everything tweeted will have happened that day.

“We have great people, and want the public to see the entire depth and breadth of what they do,” said Chief John R. Batiste. “This will be as close a look as you can get without actually coming to work for us.”

To get the inside look, follow @wastatepatrol, monitor #daywithWSP or visit http//facebook.com/WashingtonStatePatrol.
