Two local homebuilders were recognized with People’s Choice Awards for work featured in the 2013 NW Natural Parade of Homes, which took place in July at a Vancouver neighborhood in the Felida area called Bella Ridge.
The awards were handed out during a banquet Thursday evening at the Heathman Lodge.
Award winners and categories include: Best Kitchen, The Nantucket by Axiom Luxury Homes; Best Master Suite, Casa Cresta by Bella Villa Homes; Most Livable Floor Plan, The Nantucket by Axiom Luxury Homes; Best Landscaping, Casa Cresta by Bella Villa Homes; Best Entertainment Room, The Nantucket by Axiom Luxury Homes; Best Interior Design, The Nantucket, by Axiom Luxury Homes; Outstanding Architecture, Casa Cresta by Bella Villa Homes; and Best of Show, The Nantucket by Axiom Luxury Homes.
Parade visitors cast votes for the eight awards split between two of three builders participating in the five-home showcase. Ridgefield-based Cascade West Development was also featured in the NW Natural Parade of Homes, an annual event that marked its 36th year this year. It is overseen by the Building Industry Association of Clark County.
Participants of a separate event — The Remodeled Homes Tour held in June — were also honored Thursday evening. Award winners and categories were: Best Kitchen, Spacemaster Construction; Best Transformation, Jack Harroun Construction; and Best Overall Remodel, Walls to Windows Interior Design.
