Clark County-based Journey Theater Arts Group will finish up a Broadway classic. “The Music Man” follows Harold Hill, a slick traveling salesman who convinces the small town of River City, Iowa, to buy instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he says he’ll organize. But when Harold falls for Marian the librarian, his plan to skip town is put in jeopardy by his heart.

2. Film fun
The sixth-annual Columbia Gorge International Film Festival wraps up its 200 films of various lengths at venues around downtown Vancouver. The movies were created by filmmakers from as close as Camas to as far away as Moscow. The showcase will also feature movie script readings. The awards ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday at Torque Coffee. Films can be seen at Serendipity Playhouse, Torque Coffee, Vancouver Community Library and Vancouver Organization for Contemporary Art.

3. Herding abounds
Lacamas Valley Sheep Dog Trial will feature top herding dogs and their handlers from all across the West. Participants will compete at the Johnston Dairy Farm to see which pair can gather and move sheep through a timed course. There will be a public announcer on hand to explain the action on the field. The championship rounds begin Sunday.
