A Portland woman was injured when her Lexus was struck from behind on Highway 500 on Wednesday afternoon — the second rear-end crash of the day.
At 1:35 p.m., Rolando Martinez, 22, of Woodland was eastbound on the highway in his Toyota pickup and took the exit to Andresen Road, where his pickup rear-ended a Lexus G47 that was stopped for traffic, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver of the Lexus, Terri Tyler, 49, of Portland was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center after the crash. She was treated and released. Martinez was not injured.
State Patrol troopers said inattention caused the crash. Martinez was cited for following too closely.
