Fairgoers can catch one last carnival ride, explore Rock U’s musical maze or participate in a FairCon video game tournament to wrap up this year’s Clark County Fair. The Tuff Trucks will show their dirt-flying power at the grandstand arena at 2 and 7 p.m. today, with the Monster Trucks ending Sunday with a roar. Today, you can also see the junior livestock auction and the hot dog- and watermelon-eating contests. On Sunday, the Dock Dog competition finals happen as well as the pie-eating contest and llama demonstrations.

1. Brews and badminton
More than 30 brewers from Washington and Oregon will offer up the best of craft beer and cider at the Vancouver Brewfest, while a lineup of local bands perform throughout the weekend. There will also be badminton courts and craft and food vendors on hand. Proceeds from the festival will benefit Disabled American Veterans, the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, the Metropolitan Performing Arts Academy and the Children’s Center.

2. Music on the river
Open House Ministries presents Harvest Fest, a music festival of faith-based local bands and singers that benefits the organization’s family shelter. Musicians Anastasia Belonozhko, Tray Michaels, Kate White, rappers San Joe and Joshua Wright, and groups Skate Church and the Alyssa Graham Band will perform.
