Neighbor kickball teams set for championship game

Arnada — Vancouver’s Southwest Washington Neighborhood Kickball League wraps up its inaugural season Thursday as the Lincoln Continentals prepare to take on the Carter Park Kickers for the championship. The league was created by the Arnada neighborhood resident Todd Bachmann and others who sought a fun, lighthearted activity for neighbors this summer. The Arnada Armada came in third this season. Lincoln enters the 7 p.m. championship game at Arnada Park, East 25th and G streets, with a 4-0 record, while the Carter Park team has had a 3-1 season.
