Not much change in our weather outlook from what I predicted on Thursday, we enjoyed a couple of warm days with the changes beginning to show on Saturday. Clouds were increasing and a few showers were likely overnight with a more steady rain later this evening or by some time tonight.
This cold front will bring in cooler air with highs struggling to reach 60 degrees on Monday and into the low 60s Tuesday. Timberline Lodge will see a little snowfall on Monday. As skies clear Monday night we will see lows back down in the 30s once again with possible light frost in the colder areas.
It appears that our first 80 degree day may well occur this coming week if we get a good southerly flow aloft, that may happen by Thursday. It will be short lived however as we slide closer to seasonal highs Friday through the weekend. That is a ways out so things could change so stay tuned. When did we reach our first 80-degree day last year? Read on.
Unless we get more rain than I am thinking as of this writing we most likely will end the month of April with below average rainfall. The first week of May looks on the dry side of thing as well.
