A Vancouver man and woman were injured after their motorcycle T-boned a Volvo in Ridgefield on Tuesday evening, authorities said.
Emergency responders were dispatched to 1309 N.E. 199th St. at 6:24 p.m. A motorcyclist and his passenger were westbound on 199th when a 2004 Volvo, driven by a Ridgefield woman, suddenly pulled out of a private driveway into the motorcycle’s path, said Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Rothenberger.
The motorcyclist and his passenger were both transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
No other details were available.
“It’s that time of year when (motorcyclists) come out and people aren’t accustomed to seeing them,” Rothenberger said. He advises motorists to take extra caution for motorcycles.
