A man was robbed just after midnight on Tuesday near Fort Vancouver Way and East McLoughlin Boulevard in Vancouver’s Central Park neighborhood.

Few details about the incident were available Tuesday evening.

The victim had a backpack on top of his car, which was parked on Fort Vancouver Way. He was putting something in the trunk when he was approached by two males who shoved him down, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said. A third suspect took his bag and the group ran off west toward the nearby tennis courts.

Officers dispatched to the strong-armed robbery at 12:07 a.m. canvassed the area with canines and alerted the VA Medical Center.

The victim described the three suspect as possible Hispanic men in dark clothing, between the age of 18 and 25, Kapp said. Police did not locate any of the suspects.
