Two accidents in rapid succession turned the south end of the Highway 99 Hazel Dell strip into a slalom course this afternoon.
The accidents occurred about 2 p.m., one at the entrance to the BPA’s Ross Complex and the other a little farther south, on the Interstate 5 overpass.
Minor injuries resulted, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. The crashes affected traffic both on Highway 99 and the freeway for about 20 minutes.
Initial reports were that a wrong-way driver may have caused the accidents.
