A school bus with two children on board was involved in a crash north of Camas with a passenger vehicle this morning. The children suffered facial cuts, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn.
A passenger vehicle was driving too fast during the rainy conditions and began “fishtailing” before crashing broadside into the small Camas School District bus, Finn said.
The crash was reported just before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast 267th Avenue, which is also state Highway 500, and Northeast 19th Street.
The driver of the vehicle, who has not yet been identified, is being cited for traveling too fast for the conditions and for failing to provide proof of insurance, Finn said.
