Grayson Anderson, Camas boys track & field
Grayson Anderson of the Camas boys track and field team was voted The Columbian’s high school athlete of the week for the weeks of April 6-13 in a vote by fans on Facebook.
Anderson collected 41 percent of the 597 votes cast.
Anderson was the athlete of the meet at the John Ingram Twilight at Columbia River High School. He led Camas to the team title with wins in the 100 meters and the 200. He finished second in the high jump. And he was on the 400 relay team that took second.
The other nominees were Chloe Bartek of Columbia River (golf), Chris Hogan of Prairie (soccer), Alissa Pudlitzke of Camas (track and field), and Javier Villanueva of Heritage (baseball).
Nominees are posted on The Columbian’s prep sports blog at www.360preps.com by Monday. Voting starts Monday and continues through 8 p.m. Thursday at www.facebook.com/360preps.
