The identities of people involved in a Monday car crash that seriously injured a Vancouver cyclist were released Wednesday.

Ronald Henderson was riding his bike south on Grand Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. Monday when a Honda Prelude, driven by Kimberly Newman, came south on Grand and took a left onto 13th Street into the bike’s path, said Vancouver Traffic Sgt. Pat Johns.

Henderson’s carbon fiber front forks were broken and the frame of his road bike was bent in the accident. He was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. His condition was not known Wednesday night.

Officer Jeff Starks is investigating this incident.
