Drivers were told to expect long delays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. today as work on Interstate 5 southbound is scheduled to take place between the East Fork Lewis River Bridge and the La Center exit.
Crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the left and center lanes the highway to repair one mile of rutted and pothole-ridden pavement.
