BASEBALL

Record: 1-7 NWAACC West; 10-16 overall.

Last week: Split at Tacoma winning 7-4 and losing 3-1; had a weekend bye.

This week: Clark is scheduled to go to Auburn on Saturday for a doubleheader vs. Green River; Clark hosts Green River in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.

SOFTBALL

Record: 0-6 NWAACC South; 1-11 overall.

Last week: Lost two at Southwestern Oregon 13-2, 4-0; lost two at home to Chemeketa 14-7, 18-2.

This week: Clark is scheduled to host Clackamas in a 3 p.m. doubleheader today; plays at the Yakima Crossover on Saturday and Sunday.

TRACK AND FIELD

This week’s meet: Clark is scheduled to take part in the Pioneer Invite on Saturday at Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

Last week’s competition: Fort Vancouver High grad Bogdan Goncharuk won the pole vault (14-51/4) at the John Knight Twilight meet at Monmouth, Ore. Shawn Hughes was second in the triple jump (42-8 1/4) and James Hunter was second in the 110-meter hurdles.
