Women of faith to speak at WSUV event

A panel of four women of different faiths will discuss intersections between traditions and the difficulties women have had in these religious traditions at an interfaith seminar from 7 to 10 p.m. April 24 in the Dengerink Administration building, Room 110 at Washington State University Vancouver, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.

Panelists are the Rev. Domyo Burk, a Soto Zen Buddhist priest and spiritual director of the Bright Way Zen Community in Portland; The Rev. Barbara Carnegie Campbell, St. Mark Presbyterian Church, Portland; Rabbi Elizabeth Dunsker, Congregation Kol Ami, Vancouver; and Shanaz Tejani-Butt, professor and associate dean for the College of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Sciences, Philadelphia, and advisory board member for Humanity First, National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and Pathways Pennsylvania.

This is a free, public event. Parking is available at meters or in the Blue Daily Pay Lot for $3. Parking is free after 7 p.m.
