A Battle Ground school bus with no children aboard was involved in a two-vehicle collision early Friday morning.

A 1991 Toyota pickup was traveling west on Northeast 249th Street when it turned onto Northeast 182nd Avenue and struck the northbound mini-school bus, according to Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Fred Neiman. The crash was reported about 7 a.m.

The bus driver, Angela Millage-Fox, 41, was transported to a hospital for examination of back pain, Neiman said.

Damage to both vehicles was not extensive. No citations were issued, Neiman said.

The bus was en route to pick up students and take them to Battle Ground High School when the accident occurred. School officials said that a different bus was dispatched to make the run.
