Keeva, 6, a female corgi and Jack Russell terrier mix, got lost and nobody came to get her, so she is looking for a new family. Little kids make her a little bit nervous, so she would do best in a quiet home with children over the age of 10. She would like to meet any kids she might be living with, as well as any other dogs.
Fidget, 15, is a domestic short-hair brown tabby. He came to our shelter when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has not lived with other cats and doesn’t seem very fond of them here, so we’re recommending he be the only cat. Fidget is declawed on his front feet and needs an indoor-only home. He would also like to meet any children in the family.
These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees — which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination — vary. Call 360-693-4746.
