The northbound Gee Creek Rest Area will close for three days next week while crews complete regular maintenance work, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The rest area will close from 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18. Workers completed maintenance on the southbound rest area Wednesday, according to WSDOT.
The Gee Creek Rest Areas are located on Interstate 5 near the state Highway 502 interchange at Exit 11. For northbound motorists, the next rest area after Gee Creek is the Toutle River Rest Area, five miles north of Castle Rock in Cowlitz County.
