Cascade Park — Community members and businesses continue to give a financial boost to Evergreen Public Schools following the February Crestline Elementary School fire. Here are some recent donations:

• Vancouver’s four Shari’s Cafe and Pies restaurants raised $5,066 for Crestline during a February fundraiser. The businesses donated $1 for every pie sold that month. The company presented Crestline Principal Bobbi Hite with the check April 4.

• The Washington State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution donated $1,105 to the Crestline Teachers’ Association in mid-March to help replace supplies lost in the fire.

• Riverview Community Bank customers gave $4,000 in early March for a fundraiser inspired by Riverview Vice President Jennifer Konopasek, a former Crestline student.

• Students and staff at Emerson Elementary School in Everett raised money to buy 1,600 books for Evergreen Public Schools, according to The Herald newspaper.
