What’s the buzz from the world of sports? Here are some items that will have people talking:
1
The long national nightmare is over.
Chris Webber rejoined the Fab Five.
Yes, after minutes, maybe even hours of speculation, Chris Webber did show up to watch, along with his former teammates, as Michigan played in the national title game.
It was hard to see on TV, but we’re pretty sure Webber dragged his foot every time the camera was on him.
And then, for some reason, he kept calling for a timeout.
Seriously, what we don’t understand is why did anyone at Michigan want the Fab Five to come back to watch the Wolverines play? Michigan had to vacate 113 wins and two Final Four appearances because of a scandal involving several players, including Webber.
Hmmm. Come to think about it, we guess that means that traveling non-call and the timeout never really happened.

Wait. What? The International Olympic Committee basically told wrestling to get lost but now is considering 3-on-3 basketball and BMX freestyle? Yep, there is a possibility that 3-on-3 basketball will be an Olympic sport.
We have an idea.
Let the athletes who play 3-on-3 basketball get on the mat with wrestlers. Whoever wins gets to compete in the Olympics.

Is it too late for the Cleveland Indians to get their money back for paying Terry Francona to manage the team? Seriously, team owners cannot be confident in the man after Monday.
Francona admitted to getting lost on the way to the stadium. He said he got lost three times.
Oh, he lives two blocks from the stadium — and was walking.
Gonna be a long year.
