Registered voters of three school districts can expect to receive their ballots this week.

The Clark County Elections Department will start mailing ballots on Wednesday for the April 23 special election. Eligible voters in the Battle Ground, La Center and Green Mountain school districts will receive ballots.

They include a replacement maintenance and operations levy for the Battle Ground School District, a capital fund levy for the La Center School District, and a capital levy to acquire land for portable classrooms for the Green Mountain School District.

Previous attempts to pass levies in the Battle Ground and La Center school districts failed in February.

If voters don’t receive their ballots by April 12, the county says they should contact the elections department by calling 360-397-2345 to request a replacement.

Ballots will also be available at Clark County Elections Department at 1408 Franklin St.
