A political action committee created to get Southwest Washington’s women involved in political leadership will host a discussion over cocktails 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Grant House, 1101 Officers Row, in Vancouver.

Guest speakers will include Addison Jacobs, a lobbyist for the Port of Vancouver; Rhona Sen Hoss, assistant director of development at Washington State University Vancouver; and Lisa Shauer, vice president of business development at MacKay Sposito, a Vancouver engineering firm.

H-Roc is an acronym based on the expression “the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.” The PAC’s members describe the group as nonpartisan. For more information, email letstalk@h-roc.org or visit the group’s website, www.h-roc.org.
