Salmon Creek Elementary School will be open Thursday, Sept. 27, school officials said.
The school closed Wednesday after the main water line to the building broke that morning, officials said.
Children were released at 1 p.m. and buses ran early, said Kris Sork, Vancouver Public Schools spokeswoman. If a child’s parent or emergency contact wasn’t reached, the child was taken to Alki Middle School for the rest of the day.
