The Evergreen Plainsmen ran for more than 300 yards, with three players sharing most of the load, in a 28-14 win over the Prairie Falcons on Friday at McKenzie Stadium.
Jamaree Jones pounded his way to 135 yards, and Justice Murphy had 96 yards and two touchdowns for the Plainsmen (2-1), who led 21-0 at halftime.
Anthony Thomas out-fought Prairie defenders for two critical receptions, including a 24-yard touchdown pass from Kobey Eaton that opened the scoring.
Justin Straup ran for a 25-yard score, and Murphy capped a 88-yard drive with a 6-yard scoring run 22 seconds before halftime.
