Not often can you say that a team scored more in point-after attempts than the other team scored in touchdowns, but in Washougal’s game against Fort Vancouver this was the case. Scoring 11 touchdowns in the course of the game, the Panthers showed no mercy.
Austin Tofell scored four of those touchdowns, with 150 yards rushing and 62 receiving. Brandon Casteel ran three touchdowns in for 75 yards, but the most impressive feat of the night came from the defense. Matt Randall, who scored two touchdowns on offense, also intercepted the ball from his own endzone and ran for a 102-yard touchdown. Bobby Jacobs also scored on a 50-yard run. Washougal quarterback Guy LaRue threw for 98 yards.
Fort Vancouver’s quarterback prevented a shutout with his 5-yard QB keeper midway through the first quarter. Despite throwing 250 yards, Fort was limited to one touchdown.
