Jess Krahn, Hockinson
Hockinson quarterback Jess Krahn was voted The Columbian’s football player of the week in a vote by fans on Facebook.
Krahn collected 33 percent of the 526 votes cast by fans to beat out Nathan Beasley of Camas. Beasley had 28 percent.
Krahn completed 8 of 13 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns in the Hawks’ 60-7 over Fort Vancouver..
Other nominees included Heritage’s E’Lon Mack, Skyview’s Jabari Marshall and Woodland’s Eli Whitmire.
Nominees are posted on The Columbian’s blog at www.360preps.com on Saturday. Voting starts shortly thereafter at www.facebook.com/360preps and continues until Tuesday evening.
