Police investigate theft of valuable coins

Woodland police are investigating the theft of a large coin collection, possibly valued at tens of thousands of dollars, according to a bulletin from the Woodland Police Department. The collection includes gold and silver coins dating to the 1800s and several commemorative coin collector sets.

A $1,000 reward is offered. Anyone with information is asked to contact Woodland Police Detective Dave Plaza at 360-225-6965.
