Fircrest — Joanna and Ole Olsen caught the attention of Jenni Nordgaard-Holyk, the regional sales and operations manager for Brewed Awakenings Coffee Roasters, as they diligently carted away the day-old pastries that Brewed donates to local schools, shelters, honor roll breakfasts and more. The Olsens volunteer for Loaves & Fishes, “the Meals on Wheels people,” and Nordgaard-Holyk noticed them working hard to load 30-plus boxes of goodies. “Their car was full to the top with treats for seniors that either can’t leave their house, or come to their facility to socialize, and have free treats. It made me smile, and I thought I’d share the story.”
