A Vancouver woman was cited for speeding after crashing into a ditch near state Highway 14 on Monday morning.
Rosaura Ramirez, 41, was driving her 2010 Hyundai on the ramp from north Interstate 205 to west Highway 14 around 5:10 a.m. when she lost control of her car on a curve and left the roadway, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.
Ramirez and her passenger, Mirna Santos, 31, of Portland were sent to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
Both women were treated and released, hospital spokesman Ken Cole said midday Monday.
A Vancouver Fire Department vehicle was clipped by a semi truck while responding to the crash, said Trooper Will Finn, spokesman for WSP. Another crash was reported in the area shortly after, Finn said. No one was hurt in those two crashes, Finn said.
