Vancouver — Sue Kirby, an inspirational speaker and author of “Men’s Secret Camp,” will be the keynote speaker when Community Services Northwest hosts its third annual Power of the Purse luncheon.
Kirby, a popular guest on radio and TV talk shows, will speak on “Celebrate the Ordinary into Extraordinary.” She’ll cover the power of laughter, important words and tools for transformation, and steps for making celebration a daily event.
The event is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St.
Tickets are $40. Participants may include a larger, tax-deductible donation with the ticket purchase. Proceeds will benefit the Wellness Project, the only free mental health clinic in Clark County. The Wellness Project offers individual mental health and addiction treatment as well as housing services.
