49th District Democratic candidates: An old-fashioned hoedown and chili feed fundraiser for Democrats in the 49th Legislative District will take place 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the old Red Cross Building, E.B. Hamilton Hall, at 605 Barnes Road. The fundraiser will benefit the political campaigns for state Reps. Jim Moeller and Sharon Wylie, and state Senate candidate Annette Cleveland. The suggested donation for attendance is $50. The event will include pumpkin decorating for children and live music by Douglas Tracy.
