Vancouver choir joins voices at fundraiser

Battle Ground — The Disciples of Praise, the adult choir from A.M.E. Zion in Vancouver, participated in Gospel Fest at Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church in late September. The event brought “together great music, fun and an amazing silent auction as a benefit for BGCUMC’s community outreach programs,” according to the Gospel Fest Facebook page. The music ministry has been the Disciples of Praise’s way to share the “good news” with others. Debra Young is the director of the choir, which was established 37 years ago.
