Senior community takes part in quake drill

Cascade Park — Residents of the Bedford Independent Senior Living Community participated in the Great Shakeout drill at 10:18 a.m. Oct. 18. Community Enrichment Coordinator Nancy Johnson said seniors practiced drop, cover and hold whether they were in an apartment, dining room or participating in activities. The group then discussed the drill and talked about what to do if there was an earthquake, Johnson said.
