CAMAS — When Seton Catholic tied the score in the fourth quarter against Kalama, what thought was in Seton coach Dan Chase’s mind?
“We’ve got to kick the extra point to win,” Chase said.
And with that extra point came the first win in varsity football for Seton Catholic. And it was a Trico League win.
Will Noce-Sheldon threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Erik Powell with 30 seconds left to tie the game for the Cougars. Powell’s PAT kick gave Seton the victory.
After Kalama took a 12-0 lead in the first quarter, Seton rallied to take the lead when Drew Fuller rushed 3 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter and Noce-Sheldon had a 1-yard TD run in the third quarter.
