An impressive 34-point second quarter highlighted the latest Camas Papermaker football showcase.
Camas scored four touchdowns off of takeaways in the first half, when five different players scored touchdowns and the Papermakers built a 48-0 lead. Camas quarterback Reilly Hennessey completed 12 of 18 passes for 162 yards and four touchdowns in the first half.
As impressive as Camas’ quick-strike offense was, the Papermaker defense was even more dominant. In the first half, Heritage managed 73 yards of offense, but had four turnovers and was held on downs another time to set up a short field for the Papermakers.
Heritage got some consolation with three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, one on a fumble recovery. The Timberwolves went 74 yards on six plays in the final minute for the final touchdown, a 13-yard reception by Travis Thompson from Loren Standiford.
