Traffic has resumed its normal flow after a snarl earlier this morning at the junction of Interstate 205 and Highway 14, near the Glenn Jackson Bridge.
Together with a truck accident at the southern end of I-205 near Tualatin, Ore., it made a rough morning for eastside commuters. Luckily, the two traffic jams didn’t touch; I-205 traffic is flowing through northeast Portland and into Clackamas County.
At 7:15 a.m., Washington State Department of Transportation webcams showed traffic was stopped on I-205 south and Highway 14 westbound near the interchange at the Glenn Jackson Bridge. It all apparently started due to an earlier accident, according to TV traffic reports, though Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn said there was no report of an accident in the WSP’s jurisdiction.
The situation was resolved after 9 a.m.
