Six Hilanders rushed for a combined 423 yards and eight touchdowns throughout the game, with Taylor Radcliffe leading the way with 215 yards and three scores, all in the first half.
Aaron Adams completed three passes for Kelso also, finishing with 122 yards and one touchdown. Somit Chhim caught all three, finding the end zone on Adams’ 46 yard pass in the second quarter.
Taylor Radcliffe’s younger brother, Davis, also contributed a touchdown of his own coming on a 58-yard punt return. After he fumbled the catch, he picked up the ball, dodged tackles and found his way into the end zone for the first score of the second quarter. All but two of Kelso’s 10 touchdowns came on plays from more than 13 yards away.
Although the Hilander offense was firing on all cylinders, the defense was impenetrable, allowing only 7 net yards, forcing three fumbles, two interceptions and four punts. Fort quarterback Jordan Suell completed only 1 of 17 pass attempts.
