Clark County sheriff’s deputies are enlisting the public’s help to locate a robbery and assault suspect.
The suspect is Deza Rae Hernandez, 22, a transient. She is described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, about 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo reading “Jose” on her left wrist and a tattoo reading “Reamond” on her right.
She is believed to be associated with the Suernos, a Mexican street gang.
According to a news release, deputies believe Hernandez was involved in an argument outside the Ghims Village apartments, 1304 N.E. 88th St., on the evening of Sept. 18. When a resident who wasn’t part of the argument opened the door and asked the people to quit arguing and go away, Hernandez allegedly attacked her in the doorway and later inside her apartment.
Deputies say that Hernandez then allegedly left the victim’s apartment with a male companion, flagged down a motorist, and assaulted him with brass knuckles before attempting to steal his car.
