A high-risk sex offender who has targeted young children is now living on the 2400 block of Carlson Road in Vancouver, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Michael E. Lamb, 70, pleaded guilty to first-degree child molestation in February 2000 and indecent liberties in 1991; both victims were young, according to the sheriff’s office bulletin. In both cases, he blamed the victims for initiating contact, the sheriff’s office said.

Lamb is classified as a Level 3 sex offender, the most likely to reoffend. He will be monitored by the Department of Corrections, the Vancouver Police Sex Offender Monitoring Unit and the Clark County Sex Offender Registration Unit. He is not wanted by police at this time.
