A woman who has 40 years’ experience in baking and cake decorating is teaching classes on those topics at the Fern Prairie Community Grange.

Linda Rafn runs a business that provides baked goods for weddings and other events. She has worked in bakeries and taught classes through schools and community education.

Rafn’s classes at the grange are held Tuesdays, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The cost is a suggested donation of $15 per family.

Upcoming class topics include basic cake decorating (Oct. 16), children’s cake decorating (Oct. 23), advanced cake decorating (Oct. 30), cleaning up the harvest (Nov. 6) and baking, decorating and gifts for the holidays (Nov. 13).

The Fern Prairie Community Grange is located at 1814 N.E. 267th Ave, Camas. For more information or to register for a class, email living@fpgrange.org or visit www.fpgrange.org.
