Kalvin Johnson rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns as the Skyview defense held the potent Timberwolves to their lowest offensive output of the season.
Skyview quarterback Jordan Berni got the Storm rolling by completing his first eight pass attempts to six different receivers. He had touchdown passes of Spencer Miles and Jacob Dennis in the first quarter.
The Skyview defense limited Heritage to 72 total yards in the first half and Gianni Carbone’s 92 yard interception return gave the Storm a 27-0 lead at halftime.
Heritage finished the game with 42 yards rushing on 34 carries.
Berni passed for 148 of his 170 yards passing in the first half. Johnson put the game away by rushing for 121 yards in the second half.
