Target’s new Jantzen Beach Center store will open Oct. 10, a mall official said Wednesday. The 138,000-square-foot store is in north Portland southwest of the Interstate 5 Bridge,
Minneapolis-based Target Corp. closed its original Jantzen Beach store in June to finish construction of the new store, which was relocated to the north parking lot of the former store.
Target expects to hold a Tuesday ribbon cutting event, then open the store to the public on Oct. 10. It will host a grand opening on Oct. 14.
The new store is part of a $50 million remake of the mall, which is owned by Columbia, S.C.-based Edens.
