Camas — Fifty new Camas and Washougal teachers and staff members were welcomed to their jobs by the Rotary Club of Camas-Washougal at the club’s annual New Teacher Breakfast on Sept. 27 at the Fairgate Inn in Camas. “This is something we have done for years to welcome new teachers into the community and to make them feel a part of it,” Rotary club president Jocelyn Lindsay said. “We always look forward to any opportunity to show our appreciation for the hard work they do.” C-W Rotary has been involved with school service projects such Backpacks for Kids, Dictionaries for Third Graders, Young Women in Action and Young Men in Action.
