All four Clark County commissioner candidates have agreed to participate in live online chats this week on The Columbian’s website.

The first live chat will take place 2 p.m. Thursday and will concentrate on the District 1 race between Republican Commissioner Tom Mielke and his Democratic opponent, Joe Tanner. During that chat, Mielke and Tanner plan to be available to answer reader questions as they come in.

The second live chat takes place 3 p.m. Friday, and will feature District 2 Republican Commissioner Marc Boldt and his Republican challenger David Madore.

Both chats are expected to last about an hour. Readers can participate by going to Columbian Live Chats and typing in any questions or comments they have.

The Columbian will screen reader questions so candidates get a chance to address a wide range of topics.
